BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC
THE PARK IS CLOSED
TO THE PUBLIC
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Since the Medford Railroad Park is closed for the season, we have started a GoFundMe account for raising funds to support the clubs to keep the park open. You can donate to Support The Railroad Park by going to Gofundme, using the link below:
Hours of Operation for the Public*:
April through October, 2nd and 4th Sunday's of the month
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Southern Oregon Live Steamers offer free train rides to the public. Pulled by a variety of diesel and steam locomotives on over a mile of 7½-inch scale track, each exciting train ride takes about 9 minutes to go over and through all the tunnels, bridges, and hills. The park favorite for the young is the Thomas and Friends loop encircling the large Garden Railway with Thomas and Percy leading special trains built for kids only.
We have additional parking now at the Eagles Club, Jackson County Housing Authority and the rear parking area at Natural Grocers. Access is from Table Rock Road just after the main entrance to Natural Grocers and for the Housing Authority lot is after the intersection with Berrydale. Please be patient as parking will be limited at the Park.
